How does my paycheck get deposited into My Direct Pay account?
You must complete and sign the University Direct Deposit Authorization form, which provides your bank account number and bank routing number to University Payroll Services. You should ask the bank employee to complete the account number and routing number on the direct deposit form. Your My Direct Pay Card number is NOT the account number that will be used for the direct deposit system. On the established payday, the University will deposit your payroll electronically and it will be available to you via you’re My Direct Pay Card.

Does the My Direct Pay Account have any transaction dollar limits?
Yes, each account has daily limits on ATM withdrawals and POS transactions. When opening your account inquire as to the daily limits on your account.
Top
Can a My Direct Pay Account be overdrawn?
It is possible. You should always keep your transactions records accurate so you know your true account balance. Debit Card transactions may create a hold on funds (which may be larger than the actual transaction) until the actual merchant charge posts against your account. There are situations that an ATM withdrawal could create an overdraft situation. Discuss this question with the person opening your account so you understand these situations and avoid paying overdraft fees.
