The primary purpose of University Construction Accounting is to maintain accounting and budgetary records for all University of Florida fixed capital outlay construction projects on MyUFL. University Construction Accounting also serves as the liaison with the State of Florida Capital Programs Office and coordinates budget information and funding sources with Facilities Planning Offices.

Forms

Minor Project/Construction Permit for Projects under $1,000,000
When a renovation or a new construction project is initiated by the University or an affiliated unit (i.e., UAA), a permit form must be prepared prior to any other actions. Instructions and the required form are available at http://facilities.ufl.edu/forms.htm.

Budget Amendment Summary
A Budget Amendment Summary must accompany the Minor Project/Construction Permit for projects that add square footage or materially change the use of a building. The approval process normally takes four to six weeks. The form is available as part of Chancellor's Memoranda CM-D-38.00-9/97 at http://www.borfl.org/.

Signature Authorization Form
A Signature Authorization form is required for authorizing individuals to sign on a construction project. The form can be downloaded from http://fa.ufl.edu/forms/.
