On March 20, 2001 at the J. Wayne Reitz Union the Finance and Administration Division named the winners of the 2001 Superior Accomplish Award Program. Two Finance and Accounting employees, Carol van Exel and Della Waters, were awarded Superior Accomplishment Awards. Carol and Della both are employees of University Financial Services at Criser Hall. Carol is an Office Assistant who has worked at UF for 16 years and Della is a Senior Fiscal Assistant who has worked at UF for 11 years. Carol and Della will also be honored at a campus wide Superior Accomplishment Award Ceremony.
The Superior Accomplish Award Program is an annual program and anyone can nominate any employee for the award. The program recognizes faculty, Administrative and Professional (A&P) employees, and University Support Personnel System (USPS) staff members who contribute outstanding and meritorious service in their fields. This program also recognizes those employees who have made exceptional contributions to the University of Florida's efficiency and/or economy or to the quality of life it provides for students and employees.
Fifteen other Finance and accounting employees were also nominated for superior accomplishment awards. The other Finance and Accounting nominees were Kim Boynton, Carlos Cordero, Tammy Frost, Joe Gasper, Randy Staples, Sally Ryan, Zelda Strickland, Debbie Anderson, Donna McClure, Sandy Noebel, Joanne Perkins, Robin Lewis, Cantherine Canterbuy, Amanda Jobes, and Marsha White.
