The University Bursar (formerly University Financial Services) is composed of the Customer Service/Fee Accounting,
Financial Aid Disbursements, Collections, and Financial
Aid Accounting. The University Bursar performs its responsibilities
within federal, state, and university laws, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
The Unit establishes and maintains proper internal controls and participates in
program reviews and audits.

- The University Bursar is required by Florida statute 1010.03 to "exert every effort to collect all delinquent accounts".
- The University Bursar is also required by Federal regulation to enforce the terms of student financial aid awards, specifically the disbursement, reporting, billing and collection of student loans. We are also required to report Federal tax information to the Internal Revenue Service using your Social Security Number.
