Florida Prepaid and HEO (Higher Education Opportunity for Children of Teams Employees Scholarship)
Overview:
The University of Florida’s Higher Education Opportunity Scholarship (HEO) provides children of full-time TEAMS employees with the opportunity of tuition assistance for an undergraduate education at the University of Florida. Students that receive HEO and have Florida Prepaid can utilize both the scholarship and the Prepaid plan each term. Florida Prepaid will be applied first and pay according to the plan. The HEO scholarship covers $149.24 which is tuition $105.07 and differential $44.17. Students may “opt out” of Florida Prepaid each term and save their plan hours.
