Past Due Payment Plans

FLYWIRE FAQ

I have a past-due balance, can I set up a payment plan?

  • Yes! UF has partnered with Flywire to allow students to set up automated installments to resolve account balances.

If I enroll in a payment plan, will the holds on my account be lifted?

  • The balance must be satisfied in full before the holds will be released on the account. The payment plan is a convenience offered for automated monthly installments to ease the burden of a lump sum payment.

Does a payment plan cost extra?

  • There is a one-time non-refundable enrollment fee of $15.00 for the payment plan.

A 2.75% convenience fee is added to all credit/debit card payments. Payment made by electronic check will not incur a convenience fee. If an electronic check is returned as insufficient, return fees of up to $30.00 per occurrence will apply.

I don’t have access to ONE.UF and would like to pay the balance in full.

  • You can still pay in full through the Flywire Payment Plan offer. Just click “Get Started Now” and create an account. If you would like to pay the balance in full, you will not be subject to the $15.00 enrollment fee.
  • You may also be able to regain access to your ONE.UF. For assistance, contact the UFIT Help Desk at 352-392-4357 or email them at helpdesk@ufl.edu

I want to set up a plan, but don’t have access to my gatorlink.

  • You will only need your UFID to set up a payment plan. You may use your primary email to create an account. Just click “Get Started Now” and create an account.
  • If you do not know your UFID, please give us a call to verify your information. 352-392-0766
  • You may also contact the University OneStop to recover your UFID number. 352-392-2244

Can I make payments through ONE.UF, or Flywire without activating a plan to avoid Collections Activity.

  • The only way to avoid collection activity on the account is to have the balance fully satisfied or have an active payment plan through Flywire on file.

Can I cancel my plan at any time? Who do I contact?

  • The balance will be due immediately upon cancellation through ONEUF, and you may not be eligible for another plan.
  • The Student Collections department in the University Bursar will be able to assist. They can be reached via email at collections-fa@ufl.edu or by phone at 352-392-0766. You will need to reach out by email from your ufl.edu account to provide written consent for cancelation.

What if I can’t make a payment?

  • Your plan will be terminated if you fail to make 2 installments, and the balance will be due immediately through ONEUF.
