Past Due Payment Plans

FLYWIRE FAQ

I have a past-due balance, can I set up a payment plan?

  • Yes! UF has partnered with Flywire to allow students to set up automated installments to resolve account balances.

If I enroll in a payment plan, will the holds on my account be lifted?

  • The balance will need to be paid in full for the holds to be released on the account. The payment plan is a convenience offered for automated monthly installments to ease the burden of a lump sum payment.

Does a payment plan cost extra?

  • There is a One-time enrollment fee of $15.00 for the payment plan.
  • A 2.75% convenience fee is added to all credit/debit card payments. Payment made by electronic check will not incur a convenience fee. If an electronic check is returned as insufficient, return fees of up to $30.00 per occurrence will apply.

Can I cancel my plan at any time? Who do I contact?

  • The balance will be due immediately upon cancellation through ONEUF, and you may not be eligible for another plan.
  • The Student Collections department in the University Bursar will be able to assist. They can be reached via email at collections-fa@ufl.edu or by phone at 352-392-0766. You will need to reach out by email from your ufl.edu account to provide written consent for cancelation.

What if I can’t make a payment?

  • Your plan will be terminated if you fail to make 2 or more installments, and the balance will be due immediately through ONEUF.
