Directive Statement
Tax Services provides guidance to university departments regarding any new initiatives that may have a tax consequence to the university, its departments, or its members. We are also here to address questions regarding any tax-related compliance and processes.
Reason for Directive
The purpose of this directive is to ensure compliance with state and federal tax regulations.
Who must comply?
All university departments.
Procedures
- Departments considering new initiatives (especially those that generate revenue) should discuss potential tax impacts with Tax Services.
